We had the best experience with "The Movers". Our team of Jonathan, Tony, and Stephen were professional, personable and thoughtful. They worked on the frontend of our move taking care of each item and box just as if it was their own home. The delivery to our new home went very well, no issues, no scratches, due to the care they took in loading and packing the truck. We have moved several times and this was the best by far. Oscar, Jonathan, and Joaquin recently completed a move for our family and were amazing to work with. They were kind, prompt, conscientious, communicative and took great care with our belongings. They even took time to offer words of support to our mother who was anxious about the move. We cannot say enough about how wonderful this crew was!!

Would give them negative stars if I could. They showed up with a UHaul truck and 2 very unqualified people to move my house hold. Was quoted for 4 men, 1 day, it took 2 days. They did not put bed together. We slept on mattresses on the floor first night. My refrigerator which is less than 2 years old was trashed. They didn’t cover it so the front is completely covered in scratches deep scratches. They removed the doors and ice maker basket and lost the basket so we can’t make ice in my 3000.00 fridge. The broke a leg off my chest of drawers and sat it so we wouldn’t notice it. To fix the fridge is 1000.00 and they are offering me 327.00. I’m sick to my stomach every time I think about it. Please NEVER use The MoversKC out of Belton or Grandview. The owner Josh is a joke as is Tammie the office person. Good luck if you need to talk to Josh he will never call you back. I paid 4700.00 for this… we also had to move stuff ourselves. 4 car load and 2 pick up trucks. We would have been better off renting a truck and hiring a couple guys on our own. I thought we were getting a good reliable moving company for what we paid. Don’t relive my nightmare!

We had a terrible experience with this moving company. We do not recommend them, at all.1. The estimate we were given was a scam. The manager told us we would be fine with 4 men for 4 hours. The move took DOUBLE that time, and we were charged by the hour.2. The quote included disassembly and assembly at the new house, but most of our things were left in pieces and not put back together. The few things that were put back together were done totally wrong, so we ended up having to take them apart again ourselves. Plus, they misplaced the hardware they had taken off the furniture and had to drive all the way back to our old house, adding more time.3. While they were unloading at our new house, we looked in the backyard and saw one of the crew members vomiting all over our patio. We waited for them to clean it up or let us know what had happened, but they never did. We had to bring it up to them.4. They scuffed up some of the walls at the old house while they were moving things out, and again said nothing to us. We discovered it ourselves when we went back to clean.5. We asked the manager to add a piano to our inventory ahead of time, to be picked up on moving day. She agreed and added the price to our quote, but when the movers arrived, they claimed they had never been told about a piano and weren’t prepared to move one. But we were still being charged the extra cost.We were completely overcharged for the low-quality services.

The Movers provided a quick and lower stress move than we could have expected. Terance and Rece showed up first, took a tour and prepared our move out home to protect from wear and tear. The rest of the team arrived and everyone was in motion. Jorge didn’t stop moving, always having a stack of boxes until we were moved into the new house. In fact, no one stopped moving until then. Along with Terance and Rece, Joaquin helped get every odd sized and shaped piece of furniture through our doorways. Oscar took over the trucks and made they were packed well allowing everything to arrive without damage.The team that came to our house worked together to make our move as easy as possible. We would recommend them without reservation.

This was the worst move ever. They under bid the work, then charged double when they said they were done. The move took 2 days & we moved a lot of stuff out of there trucks for them. They left furniture in the wrong rooms, touched & broke things they were asked to leave alone. I would never recommend using this company! If I could leave negative stars, I would have.

Steve and his crew were absolutely AMAZING. AMAZING! What was supposed to be a 9 hour day turned into a 12 hour day in really challenging conditions. They finished in the dark - literally. They moved us into a house that wasn’t finished - like no running water and gravel for a driveway kind of not finished. Most of the move went to the lower level of the house which meant they had to walk around to back to access it - like 100+ trips. They were professional and worked their b*tts off the entire 12 hours. Amazing guys. Will highly recommend to friends and neighbors. Thank you to the Movers and to this crew!!!!!

I hired The Movers to move 12-items and a Gun Safe, on June 27th, 2024. They showed up a half hour late, sent 2- small men to do the job alone. My husband had already broken down all the beds and had them ready to move. It STILL took the 2-men 3-hours to load 12-items. They were unable to move the gun safe, but still charged us for the "Gun Safe" $250.00, and after a month of trying to get our money back, they still ignore my phone calls and email. I can not get the owner to call me back, or refund my money. Then it took them 45 min. to drive 12-miles to our new home to unload. (They charged us for the late arrival and 45 min drive.) They caused damage at both properties, the floor at our old home and the door jam at our new home. They set us up for failure by sending 2-men. They tell us every time we call that they will refund our money but then just ignore us.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Terrible. They were over an hour late, so I called to check. They got pulled over by KHP for their truck not being at code, so it was taken. They then had to rent a UHAUL to make it, one of the 3 bailed so they had a very old main helping where tore up the home by dragging stuff amd bumping it into walls. Oscar was so nice and kind but wasn't able to do it just him and the other guy. I didn't have much stuff but it took a significant amount of time to load, worked slow took many breaks. They were over 3 hours late by the time they arrived and to unload they just wanted to leave so I was the other mover. On top of this they charged me a significant amount. Will never use again. No apology for ownership, nothing.

Josh and his team did a Great job with moving us into our new home.. without a scratch or dent on our furniture precious valuables or the drywall walls and doors! The Big screen TV and all our stuff arrived home in one piece.. and nothing was broken. So hire Josh and The Movers.. and give yourself a peace of mind! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I believe they purposely under bid jobs to get the business. I was given what felt like a good deal but it wasn’t so low of a price that I was questioning it. They said 7 hours, one truck and 4 guys. They showed up with a U-haul! That was the first thing that seemed off…The first question from the movers was “are you taking all of this?” I mean really! Yes I’m moving and would like to take it all! That was the 2nd thing…Before they started one of the movers called the boss Josh and asked for a second truck and crew and was told NO! 3rd struck! So our poor mover Oscar and his crew started at 10am and didn’t finish until 2am! In the middle of loading the truck for round 2 Josh tells the crew to cal it a night and start again tomorrow! I THINK NOT! I had a call with Tammy who gave the bit and when told me my price was doubled I asked to speak to Josh. When I called I got no answer. I was char ged for double what I was quoted AFTER I gave a check for payment to the crew! This will be disputed! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
